A Summerville man reported recently that his checks are being cashed without his permission, and he believes it might be his ex-wife doing it.
Eric Coleman told an officer with the Summerville PD that between the 10th and 21st of this month, someone had cashed three checks on his account through the Money Network, Mt. Vernon, totaling $350. The locations where the checks were cashed was not known at the time of the report.
The SPD is investigating the case.
