Harbor House is hosting the 32nd Roman Rumble. The Roman Rumble is hosted annually to help children of physical and sexual abuse. The event is a 5K race and two mile health walk. It is a qualifier for the AJC Peach Tree Road Race.

Harbor House will use the funds raised to provide in house counseling, which is free for children of abuse, implement safety programs for schools, provide a child friendly environment at Harbor House, and help continue day to day operations.

The event will be held at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome, Georgia on September 15, 2018, race starts at 8 a.m. Registration is available online at active.com (search Roman Rumble) until September 12, 2018. Participants can also register the day of the race. The registration fee is $25. Updates about the race will be posted on the Harbor House Facebook page.

Harbor House is the Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center. They provide services to children who may have been the victim of abuse, provide a comfortable, child-friendly environment to talk with kids, coordinate investigations, facilitate collaboration between agencies, and help victims and families find the support they need throughout the process
