After a short car and foot chase in south Forsyth County, Forsyth County News reported that the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested three men and a juvenile suspected of burglarizing several businesses in Alpharetta and one in Bartow County last Saturday morning.

At around six a.m., the four suspects were spotted backing up to the front doors of a Chevron gas station in a Jeep and they immediately fled the scene. Within a few miles, they wrecked their vehicle and fled on foot. Two were captured immediately while information from citizens led to the arrest of the other two. Authorities found cash, bolt cutters, a pry bar, and numerous unopened cartons of cigarettes in their vehicle.

The morning before at around 2:30, the same four suspects allegedly pried open a side door of Shell on Highway 20 in Cartersville. Three of them entered the clerk area at the front counter and stuffed 3,000 dollars in cash and 4,000 dollars-worth of cigarettes and e-cigarettes into a bag. The fourth suspect attempted to break inside a slot machine, inflicting around 3,500 dollars damage to it.

Joshua Pitts, Tyrese Rivers, Sadaque Holmes, and the juvenile will be charged in Bartow County with burglary and criminal damage to property in the first degree. The three adults were taken to the Forsyth County Jail. The juvenile was taken to a regional youth detention center in Gainesville.
