Belton Shepard, 63, of Kingston was arrested Tuesday for possession of drugs and firearms.

According to police, during the execution of a search warrant, Shepard, who is a felon, was found with six firearms. He was also in possession of a glass pipe, methamphetamine, and clonazepam not in its original container.

Shepard is charged with felony possession of firearm during commission of or attempt to commit certain crimes, felony crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, or drugs without consent, drugs not in original container, felony possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects, and six counts of felony possession of a firearm by a felon.
