James Griffin, 35, of Kingston, was arrested Tuesday for selling stolen property and attempting to mislead a police officer.

According to police, in June 2018, Griffin entered a home a stole a gold ring valued at $200 and a gold chain valued at $400. He then sold the stolen goods for $145.

When the officers were serving the arrest warrant for the said crime, he attempted to give a false name and date of birth to mislead police officers.

Griffin is charged with probation violation, giving a false name, address, or birthdate to law enforcement officer, theft by deception, theft by taking, and felony burglary.
