The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department says that a Mountain View woman accident shot her husband while the two were target practicing on Monday.
The sheriff’s department says that the incident happened around 10:45 AM when the two were on Narrows Road. The husband was allegedly shot accidentally behind the knee.
The two drove to the BP gas station at the Mountain View intersection and were met by a Redmond EMS Ambulance.
Sheriff Mark Schrader says that the man was not seriously injured, but investigators are looking into the details of the shooting.
