The power of unity was truly seen yesterday in our community! Nine first responder units from Rome and Floyd County together hosted a community-wide blood drive that saw 104 donors in three locations (Law Enforcement Center, Floyd County Jail and the Rome Donor Center) with three bloodmobiles and collected 100 units of blood all in just a little after lunchtime.

“Blood Assurance is deeply grateful for the honor to partner with the Rome and Floyd County First responders yesterday in a tremendously successful blood drive,” said Mandy Perry, Community Liaison of Blood Assurance. “The donor turnout coupled with the community support made for an outstanding goal-reaching, life-saving day!”
