In Atlanta on Saturday, August 25th, the Democratic Party of Georgia will hold their 2018 State Convention to kick-off the General Election campaign.  The convention will feature all of the Democratic nominees for statewide office (see list below).

Local Democrats will have an opportunity to serve as delegates to the state convention.  During their monthly meeting on Thursday, August 2nd, the Floyd County Democrats will be hosting a caucus to elect two state convention delegates.  This meeting will begin at 7pm at the Community Room of NWGA Housing Authority (560 N. Division Street, Rome, 30165).

All Floyd County registered voters interested in participating in the Democratic caucus are encouraged to attend.  To run for a delegate position, you need be a registered voter in Floyd County, a Democrat, available to attend the convention in Atlanta and willing to support our outstanding Democratic nominees.
