A Georgia woman has been arrested by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department on child-sex charges in Mississippi, and authorities there say that the case is linked to the investigation of a Chattooga County man arrested in Mississippi.

Thirty-four-year-old Elizabeth Naomi Taylor of Eaton, Georgia was arrested last week by Chattooga County Sheriff’s investigators.  She is facing nine counts of felony child abuse and two counts of sexual battery.

Lee County, Mississippi Sheriff’s investigators say that more than one child is involved in the felony counts against Taylor.  They also said that Taylor’s arrest stemmed from an investigation into Jamey Burrage who was arrested in Lee County, Mississippi for child molestation.

According to local authorities in Chattooga County, Burrage has maintained residences in both Chattooga County and Lee County, Mississippi.   Mississippi officials say that Taylor is the live-in girlfriend of Burrage.

Also, law enforcement in Lee County say that other Mississippi counties may be bring charges against the couple.
