This morning at a called Board meeting, the Floyd County Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Jeffrey R. Wilson as the next Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Wilson has served the last seven years as the Superintendent of Schools for the White County School System in Cleveland, GA and has worked in education for 30 years.

Dr. Wilson said he is excited about the new opportunity and thinks Floyd County Schools is a great school system. He will officially take office in Floyd County Schools on July 1, 2018.
