Jermaine Antonio Nelson, 32 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly violated a protection order when he followed a 26 year-old woman in his car and proceeded to strike her vehicle in an attempt to push her into an intersection.
Reports added that Nelson then left the scene of the accident.
Nelson is charged with aggravated stalking, reckless conduct, hit and run, and driving on a suspended license.
