Taylor Roberts, the most decorated player in Coosa High School Volleyball history, signed with Emmanuel College on Friday afternoon surrounded by her family and teammates.
Roberts, the 6’1 Middle Blocker, completed her career this season with many accolades, awards, and recognitions, on top of having a record-breaking season in several major statistical categories, such as the the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association National Player of the Week for the entire state of Georgia (all classifications) for the week of September 11-17, 2017, Area 3AA Player of the Year, and the Georgia Volleyball Coaches’ Association Class AA Player of the Year (first public school player to win this award in A or AA).
“Taylor is one of those players that does not come around that often. She is a hard worker, an outstanding leader, an encourager, and she has one of the best attitudes I have ever seen in an athlete,” said Coosa High Head Volleyball Coach Nic Hann. “Her determination to get better every single point is the reason why she has had such a successful high school career. I can honestly say that she had a huge part in leading the team to the AA State Championship this season, as she is one of those leaders that is so easy to follow.”
Taylor’s career stats include:

Taylor’s 2017 season stats include:

I wish her the absolute best in this next chapter of her life.”
