A local woman filed a report at the sheriff’s office Sunday claiming that her medicine was stolen while she was letting her kids play at Sloppy Floyd State Park.
The woman stated that she took her children to the park around 4 PM, and when she got home later that night, she saw that some of her medicine was missing. The victim said that over 50 hydrocodone/acetaminophen pills (commonly known under the brand name Vicodin) were stolen, but 22 were left in their container.
The victim said the bottle was left in her purse in her vehicle, which may have been unlocked during the theft.
