Come out to Ridge Ferry Films and enjoy a free outdoor movie hosted by Parks and Recreation and sponsored by Heritage Auto Group and Parker Fibernet. Ridge Ferry Park will open at 5:30pm that day for food and fun! The movie will begin at sundown.

“Our last movie for the year will be a Reese Witherspoon southern classic.” says Sarah Grimes, program coordinator at Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation. “We are hoping the weather will cooperate with us this time and make this event a good one.”

Fun activities include a free 40’ obstacle course inflatable sponsored by Hi-Tech Signs and Specialties, a balloon artist will create unique props for tips, and a photo-booth will be set up for fun pictures. Participating food vendors are Don Neo, Dog Gone Good Food, Kona Ice, and a popcorn vendor.

In conjunction with Rome-Floyd Parks & Recreation’s screening at Ridge Ferry Park, Oak Hill will offer unique tours of the house and artifacts as seen in the movie. Tours are September 23rd beginning at 10 am and will be on the hour every hour, until 4 pm. There will be a five-dollar admission fee.
