Trion City School officials announced earlier this week that they will release early on Monday in order to avoid dealing with any possible liability issues due to the upcoming solar eclipse.

Solar eclipses can be dangerous for people to look at due to the way our eyes process UV Rays. The school hopes to reduce the chance of students injuring their eyes while at school by allowing them to go home instead.

Students will be released midday, we will update our readers with specific times once they are made known.
