The Safe Solar Viewing program will be holding an event at The Summerville Branch of the Chattooga County Library System on Aug 15 at 6pm.
They will be showing a power point presentation that includes history of eclipses, what causes them, what we will see, and how to view the eclipse in the safest manner possible.
They will pass out informational fliers and Solar Glasses for citizens to use during the eclipse.
