The Cartersville Police Department released the identity of a suspect involved in the robbery of a cab driver.
Monday morning, at 8:30 am, Officers responded to reports of a robbery at the Mcdonald’s at 1370 Joe Frank Harris Parkway. Officers discovered that the victim, a local cab driver, was assaulted and robbed by the suspect, Ruben McCann.
McCann pulled a knife on the victim and threatened him the cab driver right before he fled the scene.
The suspect was placed into custody a short time later.
