Colton Michael Lambert, 19 of Calhoun, Alabama, was arrested in Cave Spring Tuesday after attempting to hinder police from making an arrest on Tony Eugene Heath, 38 of Rome, at the Creekside Inn motel.
Reports said that Health was wanted out of Cherokee county.
Authorities said that they found methamphetamine in glass smoking device located in an open night stand drawer.
Lambert is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Heath is charged with fugitive from justice, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.
