Sonoraville High School named Denver Pate as their new head football coach Thursday.
Pate takes over for Jim Kremer, who resigned last Friday after three years.
Pate served as offensive coordinator under Kremer the past two seasons.
He has also served as an assistant coach at Chattooga, Cedartown, East Paulding and Berry College.
