John Lee Young, 40 of Rome, was arrested Monday after he allegedly attempted to injure a 30 year-old man over a pack of cigarettes on North Avenue.
Reports said that Young pushed the victim to the ground in an effort to “cause violent injury” while having a dispute over the cigarettes.
Young is charged with simple assault and probation violation.
