Shaun Brand, emergency preparedness coordinator for the ten-county Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District, was awarded the Mike Terwilliger Community Preparedness Leadership Award at the 2017 Emergency Management Association of Georgia conference held recently in Savannah.
The award recognizes “a leader in public health emergency preparedness who epitomizes the selfless commitment to helping all health districts in Georgia at their times of need.”
