Stephanie Renee Peery, 32 of Rome, was arrested on Friday after she allegedly attempted to hit two people walking on a sidewalk with her car. Reports stated that Peery drove her car on the sidewalk, missed the victims, but did strike a parked car on Fortune Street.
Reports added that two children witnessed the attack.
Peery is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, reckless conduct, cruelty to children, hit and run and striking an unattended vehicle.
