The man driving a vehicle involved in a fatal accident in Emerson last month was booked into the Bartow County Jail this week. Brandon Cochran, 30 of Talking Rock, was driving a Honda Civic on Joe Frank Harris Parkway when he is accused of turning in front of a Dodge Ram at Stars Way at LakePoint Sporting Community on February 17th, killing his passenger Ricky Brand. The driver of the Ram was not injured.
Cochran has been charged with homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of methamphetamine, possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug related objects, and failure to yield while turning left.
