A high speed chase in Chattooga County landed a man in jail this week. Reports stated that Kyle Philip Boston, 34, was allegedly spotted driving a motorcycle without a tag on Highway 27 in Gore when they began to follow him.

A Georgia State Patrol Trooper stated that after following him for several miles the motorcycle began to speed away at a high rate.  The trooper reported that he then clocked the bike at 95 miles per hour while attempting to pull Boston over.

Reports then stated that Boston attempted to take the motorcycle in the grass median in an attempt to escape authorities.  They added that when Boston attempted to pull back on the road he lost control of the motorcycle and as a result threw himself and a passenger off before crashing the bike.

Boston and the passenger were transported to Floyd Medical Center where they were released a short time later.

Boston is charged with speeding, reckless driving, no insurance, no helmet, attempting to elude police, expired tag and driving on a suspended license.
