According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Monday, January 16, 2017, investigators arrested two individuals in Gaylesville in connection with a burglary that occurred last week. Jesse T. Giddens and Matthew J. Bice, both 19 of Gaylesville, were arrested for third degree burglary, third degree theft of property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies transported both suspects to the Cherokee County Detention Center, where they await bond. Investigators were able to recover all of the stolen property related to this case.
