The #22 Lady Chargers traveled to Harriman, Tennessee to take on the #6 Nationally ranked Lady Senators. The Chargers fought to the wire cutting Walters State lead to 2 with 2:27 to go but the Lady Senators made the plays down the stretch to pull out the win 62-51.

The Lady Charger were led by Kerry Watson with 14 points. Sophomore Pam Diokpara with a double double, 13 points and 13 rebounds. Katerina Pazzaglia Khomenko had 10 points and 8 rebounds.

” The ladies played hard and battled all night , we let them have too many second chance points, they made a couple of plays and were able to close the game out,” said Lady Chargers head coach Brandan Harrell.

The Lady Chargers return to action on Tuesday at home to take on Gadsden State tip off is at 5:30pm. We will be celebrating last years NJCAA Region XVII Championship and National Tournament Sweet Sixteen appearance . The Championship banners will be unveiled and the players will receive their Championship rings.
