Georgia Highlands #22  Lady Chargers traveled to Tennessee for the season opener and came away with 70-63 win over the Lady Raiders of Roane State in the Walters State Classic. Georgia Highlands got off to a fast start early in the first half with a balanced scoring attack that was fast paced . ” We had a great first half, we played hard and fast, we struggled with some foul trouble in the 3rd period and lost our composure a bit.” We finally got back on track with some timely stops on defense, overall it was a good start,” said Lady Charger Head Coach Brandan Harrell.

The Lady Chargers were led in scoring by freshman Kateryna Pazzaglia Khomenko with 15 points, Pam Diokpara with 14, Brianna Davis with 11, and Maria Crider with 10 points.
