Three mobile homes were destroyed by fire on Saturday according to fire officials.  Reports stated that the blaze began in a home at the Pine Village Mobile Home Park when high winds quickly spread the fire to two nearby homes.

Authorities said that the fire was fueled by a large pile of pine straw.

The fires displayed seven residents, however, no one was injured.

The residents will be assisted by the Coosa Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross in finding shelter.

Officials added that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
