John Tyler Lee, 23 of Summerville, was arrested on Broad Street in Rome after firing a weapon on the 400 block.
Reports stated that Lee told police that he fired the weapon in order to make someone leave him alone during an altercation.
Lee is charged with discharging a gun near a public street, discharging a gun while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, disorderly conduct, and carrying a concealed weapon without a license.
