A Bartow County woman that was transported to an Atlanta area after her oxygen tank exploded late last week has died.
New reports stated that the woman had possibly been smoking while using oxygen.

Bartow County EMS responded to a residence off Iron Belt Road Friday morning to an elderly female that had been burned in what appeared to be an oxygen tank explosion.
Reports staeted that upon EMS arrival, the crew found the patient had burns to the face, neck, chest and back.
Authorities said that the patient was rapidly loaded in the EMS unit and transported by ground ambulance due to weather and low visibility grounding all medical helicopters. The patient was transported to Cobb General, a burn center for treatment.
