Halie Storm Westbrooks, 23 of Summerville, was arrested in Floyd County while being transported from Chattooga County to a local hospital.
Reports stated that Westbroosk attempted to remove herself from the custody of a Chattooga County Sheriff’s deputy and violently resisted the attempt of being lawfully restrained.
Police added that after arriving at Floyd Medical Center Westbrooks made physical contact in a “provoking manner” and caused physical harm to a staff member at the hospital.
She is charged with battery, obstruction of an officer and escape.
