The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force arrested seven people in part of a dismantling of a trafficking organization operating in Walker, Catoosa and Chattooga Counties.  The arrest came during a traffic stop when police found two ounces of “ice” methamphetamine.

Those arrests led Police to a Trion residence where they seized two more ounces of “ice” and arrested two additional individuals.

The arrests further led Officers to a business at Direct Connection Drive in Catoosa County. At Brothers Wholesales, Officers discovered one and a half pounds of “ice” and made an additional three arrests.

The drugs are estimated at $70,000.00 with even more arrests on the horizon.

Among those arrested were:

Kenneth Lee Scholtz, 47, of Trion

Kenneth Loren Scholtz, 18, of Trion

Amber Michelle Melville, 33, of Chattanooga,

Jessie Samuel Simpson, 44, Rossville

Carol Dawn Stoner, 41, Rossville
