Pepperell Primary School students,parents, faculty and staff will hold an appreciation breakfast
Friday for law enforcement, bus drivers and others who helped to get children to school and back home safely during the first week of school.  The appreciation breakfast will be held on Friday, August 5 from 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. at the school.
“Pepperell Primary will honor our amazing Men in Blue, our Floyd County Police Officers who have assisted throughout our community in assuring that our students arrive to school safely and return home safely,” stated Carmen Jones, principal at Pepperell Primary School. “Our Pepperell Primary school bus drivers and routing coordinators will also be honored for their hard work in assuring that our students travel safely to and from school.”
Central office personnel will also drop in during the breakfast in appreciation of those who stopped by Pepperell Primary throughout the week to check on children and for assist with morning and afternoon traffic.
Jones added, “We are blessed in Floyd County Schools to have such an amazing network of ongoing support for student safety and the well-being of our system students and employees.”
