Carolos Demond Woodard, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he created a fake check then passed it to the Tazo Food Mart on Calhoun Avenue.
Reports added that Woodard allegedly wrote a $410 check from a fictitious company with a fake routing and account number and passed the check to the store.
He is charged with fourth degree forgery and two counts of contempt of superior court.
