According to Cherokee County (AL) Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County investigators seized multiple marijuana plants from a wooded area along County Road 6 in the Gnatville area. Investigators discovered the plants earlier in the week. They searched the area and seized the illegal marijuana on Friday, July 22, 2016, with assistance from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Aviation Unit.
Approximately 60-70 plants were seized and destroyed according to Chief Investigator Josh Summerford.
