Four individuals have been arrested in Trion for allegedly stealing close to $37,000 from Trion School.  Paul Haley, 36 of Summerville, and Matthew James Beech, 35 of Trion, are both charged with Burglary, Conspiracy, Theft by Taking and Criminal Trespass.

Also, Charles Quinn McDonald, 31, and James Robert Gunder, 30, was arrested at their homes in Meriwether County and charged with Felony Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.

Trion Police Chief Jason Kellett said that he believes that the suspects conspired to steal a zero turn John Deere mower, a trailer and a variety of other types of maintenance equipment from one of the school’s storage buildings.

Police successfully recovered most of the stolen items in Meriwether County.
