Another inmate at the Floyd County Jail is now facing a charge of attempting to start a riot.  Carolos Demond Woodard, 27 of Rome, was charged Tuesday with the act that occurred on July 17 in the J Block.

Reports stated that Woodard attempted to use a piece of cardboard to gain access into a room in order to commit a violent act to the occupants.

Woodard has been in jail since July 12 of this year after being arrested on two child support warrants and a charge of fourth-degree forgery.
