The Bartow County community celebrated with Surya Rug on Monday during their ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility in Highland75 Corporate/Industrial Park in Cartersville.
Many dignitaries were on hand to celebrate with Surya’s founder Mr. Surya Tiwari and Surya’s President Mr. Satya Tiwari including Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr, Bartow County Sole Commissioner Steve Taylor, and Cartersville Mayor Matt Santini among others.
Surya is a dynamic marketer and distributor of home accessories ranging from rugs, pillows, throws, accent furniture, wall décor, lighting, bedding and more.
The company’s Gordon County operations will be consolidated in the new facility, except for one warehouse and production plant. The company will stagger consolidation of the different facilities into the Cartersville location during the month of May.
