An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Jody Leigh Strattard, 37 of Rome, was found with methamphetamine while incarcerated this week.
Strattard was initially arrested on March 1, 2016 for a failure to appear warrant.
Jail officials are still looking into how the drugs were brought into the facility.
She is now charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of the drug across the guard line of the jail.
