From Reporter Tony Potts:

Jonathan has been a friend of mine for several years. He was one of the most genuine men I have ever had the honor of working with.  They’re people who go to work for law enforcement for a job, not Lyle. He went into to to help people. I have had the honor to ride with Lyle numerous times and his goal was also to help people, not just collect a pay check.  He loved his children and his family very, very much, and my heart goes out to them.  I also want to thank Lyle for his service in the military.  Rest in Peace my friend.
