A suspect in an Adairsville robbery is being sought by police. Report said that Cody McCain, 23 of Atlanta, allegedly robbed his ex-girlfriend in the Food Lion parking lot over the weekend. Reports said that officers responded to a strong armed robbery on Sunday at 7 p.m. When officers arrived they were told that McCain had arranged to meet an ex- girlfriend to return money to her.
When she arrived, McCain hit her in the face, causing a visible injury, in front of their child.
He then took $2,000 from her wallet and fled on foot. Warrants have been taken for McCain. I
McCain is wanted by the Adairsville Police Department for Robbery, Battery, Cruelty to Children in the third degree, and Financial Transaction Card Theft.
