Thanks to heavy flooding the Roman Holiday was docked on top of the levy this weekend. As wasters from Rome’s three rivers raged and flooded the area, the famed Rome boat had to be rescued on Saturday.
Floyd County EMA Director Tim Herrington said that another 2 and a half inches of rain is expected in northwest Georgia though New Years.
