Darryl Alexis Gibbons, 33 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after police said that found a gun that had been stolen from the Cartersville Police Department in his possession. Reports added that officers also found a large quantity of marijuana during a search at 108 Hillside Avenue.
Gibbons is is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
He is additionally charged with misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects.
