Film and TV producer, screenwriter, and director Seth Ingram has been appointed the Executive Director for the 2015 Rome International Film Festival. Under Ingram’s direction, this year will be the film festival’s 12th year showcasing independent films from across the world. In 2015 alone, RIFF has received over 500 film submissions for selection.
`We are very excited to have Seth Ingram, a talented and experienced member of the film industry, to help chair and organize the festival,` said Randy Quick, chairman of the board of the Rome International Film Festival, RIFF. `His experience and expertise will help encourage the festival’s growth and success.`
Ingram has worked in the film and TV industry for over a decade as a producer, screenwriter, and director. His most recent documentary film, `Blind Tiger: The Legend of `Bell Tree` Smith,` was one of the films selected for screening at the 2014 Rome International Film Festival.
He is currently working as a script and story consultant for various independent productions while also developing his own content. Ingram is also partnering with an Atlanta-based production company, Moonshine Pictures , to write and develop feature screenplays and show content.
A Rome native, he received a bachelor’s degree from Covenant College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mass communications from Georgia State University.
Ingram currently lives in Cave Spring, Georgia, with his wife and their three children.
