Studafed Purchase Leads to Meth Arrest

A woman reportedly making several purchases of Sudafed at local
pharmacies recently allerted local authorities to possible drug
activity. According to the Chattooga County Narcotics Unit,
a search warrant was issued at the home of Gayla Marie Parish
in Summerville. After searching the home officers found a glass
pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue stashed in an
ottomon; 5 small bags of suspected methamphetamine; and four
syringes.
Parish also had house guests: Anthony Ray Green of Cloudland, Georgia,
and Richard Arlen Humphrey Jr. of Lyerly.
They were all charged with possession of methamphetamine, and
possession of drug related objects. Parish was additionally
charged with Possession of a substance with intent to
manufacture methamphetanine (ephedrine).
