Sheriff Harris said, `We have had investigators and officers on
the scene of this case all night. Our people together with Fort
Payne Police Department have worked nonstop until we had a
suspect in custody. I can`t say how beneficial it is to have
agencies that we can work so easily with. It really makes
things go smoothly and we are able to arrive at resolution much
faster than we would otherwise. We really appreciate the
assistance and cooperation we received from Fort Payne PD and
Cherokee County Sheriff`s Office on this case.`
