Georgia Among Nation`s Worst Economies

According to a midyear review of state employment trends by
Portfolio.com and bizjournals, Georgia is listed as the sixth-weakest
state economy. The study gives Georgia a -9.32 score for
employment, pointing out the State lost 74,600 jobs from
2009 to May 2010. Georgia now has 3,139,200 private sector
jobs and a 10 percent unemployment rate.
Nevada placed dead last. The other four states behind Georgia were;
The District of Columbia, California, Florida, Michigan, and
Rhode Island.
What state ranked the strongers? That honor goes to North Dakota.
