Two Arrested for Stealing 100K Worth of Tires

Two Rome men, Jaiefam Odeh, 32, and Fares Mohammed Samha, were
arrested after police accused them of steaing over $100,000 worth
of tires from Pirelli Tires. Floyd County Investigators caught the
two men taking 152 tires from the company with a rental truck
Monday night.
Police had been tiped by Pirellis security that tires were being
taken before they were being inventoried in the shipping department.
The two were arrested following a sting operation.
Following a search warrent at the home of Odeh, police discovered
five pounds of marijuana. He has been charged with theft by receiving
stolen property, possession of marijuana, and possession within 1,000 feet
of a school.
Samha was charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
Three other employees were fired by Pirelli, but were not charged.
