86 Year-old Man Re-booked for Floyd Co. Murder

86 year-old Albert Lee Bennett of Aragon, was re-booked into
the Floyd County Jail this week. Bennett was arrested and charged
with the death of Vera Elizabeth `Nib` Hyde, 80, of Silver Creek
in 2006. He has been at the Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital
since the arrest being evaluated and getting treatment so that
he may stand a competency hearing.
Hyde was shot in the head the first few days of December 2006.
Bennett was first arrested Feb 21,2007.
