Local Restaurant Donates to YMCA

Shane`s Rib Shack in Rome donated $1,703.31 to the Rome Floyd YMCA
on Wednesday. Manager Lee Rogers said it was an honor to donate
thirty-five percent of his sales from February 27 to the hometown
organization.
Rogers said, `It is an honor to give back to the YMCA. I have
worked closely with the organization for many years, serving
as a day camp and after school counselor.`
Sterling Resturants, the group that owns Shane`s Rib Shack, along
with Moe`s Southwest Grill in Rome, said that the company also
promotes that the chains give back atleast 5 percent of net sales
to the community.
